Crisis Diversion/Least Restrictive Alternatives Specialist Services Crisis Diversion/Least Restrictive Alternatives (CD/LRA) Monitoring Team provides crisis diversion services that include crisis intervention services to consumers of all ages who are in emotional crisis as well as psychiatric emergencies. The Team is also cross trained to provide monitoring services to community providers who provide outpatient treatment services to individuals who are court ordered to less restrictive alternative outpatient treatment by Superior Court via the Involuntary Treatment Act (ITA). Crisis Diversion Services The Crisis Diversion Team assesses and prioritizes the various layers of concerns consumers present so appropriate assistance can be offered in a crisis situation. Immediate support is provided to the individual as community resources are obtained to assist with his/her current crisis. The goal of Crisis Diversion Services is hospital diversion, by appropriately assessing the consumer's needs, and providing him/her immediate access to community resources and treatment services as appropriate. LRA Monitoring Services LRA Monitoring services are provided to all consumers who are released from inpatient psychiatric care and court ordered to outpatient services. LRA Monitoring staff on the Crisis Diversion Team monitors all providers to ensure LRA services are properly administered. |
